Howl's Breakfast: Inspired by Howl's Moving Castle (gluten free)
Inspired by Howl’s Moving Castle, I’m making one of the most iconic breakfasts in film. Howl’s breakfast spread for Markl and Sophie. This is one of my favourite films of all time and I am so excited to finally share this creation with you. Crispy bacon (don’t let Calcifer burn it), runny eggs, fresh bread, a hunk of cheese, and a freshly steeped pot of tea. If you want to be truly authentic then you have to use a spoon to eat your eggs, and drink your tea out of a bowl. Just saying!
Ingredients
- 3 slices bacon
- 6 large eggs
- fresh bread Crusty, rustic would be ideal
- cheese of your choice I used Emmi Swiss
- tea of choice black is ideal, English Breakfast, Earl Grey, etc...
Instructions
- In a large cast iron pan over medium heat, place down the bacon and crack in your eggs. Cook until desired doneness.
- Serve with a cheese, a slice of bread, and freshly steeped tea in a small soup bowl.
- Don't forget to use a spoon to eat your eggs!
