Miso Pork Onigiri for Zoro: Inspired by One Piece (gluten free)

Inspired by Roronoa Zoro, my favourite directionally challenged swordsman! I am making a miso and soy pork filled onigiri that I believe Sanji would have absolutely made for him. Ongiri are simple, versatile, and delicious! This pork filling is bursting with umami from the miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, and garlic. Fresh fluffy rice filled with the delicious pork filling and wrapped in nori is just tooo good! You absolutely have to make it for yourselves. I’m sure that if Sanji made these for Zoro, he wouldn’t leave over a single grain of rice, and neither will you!

If you have food allergies or just aren’t in Japan but want the experience and fun of a rainbow grilled cheese, this one’s for you. Thinly shredded mozzarella cheese + food colouring, carefully arranged on buttered bread and grilled until gooey. That’s it! A delicious treat to give you a taste of Japan at home!

Yor’s Stew: Inspired by Spy x Family (gluten free)

Inspired by Spy x Family, I’m making Yor’s stew. A central European inspired stew filled with veggies, meat, paprika and caraway. A dollop of sour cream brings it all together. Topped with a fried egg and an Octopus hotdog, just like how Yor’s mom made it. It’s easy and cozy. You should definitely try it out.

It combines ketchupy fried rice and a light and fluffy omelet to create a childhood favourite and staple in many homes. This episode was so silly and adorable, when I saw Anya order the Omurice for lunch, I knew I just had to make it!
