I don’t know about you but I believe that Fridays following cold and dreary weeks call for some sweet goodness. So here you go! Pumpkin Pie Bars With A Brown Butter Cinnamon Maple Glaze.
These bars have become a staple in our house over the fall and winter season since they are so easy! Plus, I don’t believe that pumpkin season is only in October. Pumpkin is a great flavor to bake with and I am not quite done with it yet for this year!
I love simple and tasty recipes like this one! Especially with thanksgiving coming very soon and Christmas closing in, we need goodies like these in our arsenal.
The base of these bars are nice and chewy. The filling is moist and flavourful. And for the top layer, I took the pie crumble that we all love and created this crumbly, streusely (yes yes I know it’s not a real word but I like it and it fits) topping.
Oh my goodness guys, this glaze is UNREAL! I swear the nuttiness from the brown butter mixed with the cinnamon spice and maple syrup makes these bars totally addicting! And oh, do these bars make the house smell sooo good!
